Because Julie likes Ice Hockey so much and I like Ice Capade shirts, we went ice skating ourselves.
We hoped that we could skate a bit alone, but the ice rink was full of couples, children and very young ice skating princesses. Luckily we made on the ice...the ice skates are not floor material and you look very funny walking. When we hit the rink, we took the first few minutes to engage courage... After a few rounds Julie was skating faster than the little princesses... Julie, you are made to be a hockey princess :)
As you can see we were pretty good at it! And there was no bloody nose running or kids that got hurt...
We can highly recommend this... Good exercise and fun!!
On the way home I notice these wild weird plants... I asked Julie to take a picture with me next to them...But it didn't go that well :(
It was a cactus!!! OUCH!
